**Calling All ZX Spectrum Enthusiasts!**
It’s time for another fun-packed issue of FREEZE-ZX zine, which is tailor-made for fans of the 8-bit, rubber-keyed wonder. We don’t just chat about games; we also chat to the people who make them! And we may have a little fiddle with them along the way (oo-er, missus!)

Here’s a sneak peek at the features waiting for you inside FREEZE-ZX issue 02:

COVER FEATURE: AUF WIEDERSEHEN MONTY
It has been almost 40 years since the first and last time I played Auf Wiedersehen Monty on the ZX Spectrum. And so, it’s time to take a personal look back at a game that, in my memory, still stands tall as
one of the finest ZX Spectrum platformers of its time. Oh — and we may even have a few tidy cheats for you to play with too 😉

THE SINCLAIR SIN-BIN:
It’s time for another riotous trip down memory lane as we dredge up more of the ZX Spectrum’s most hilariously abysmal games, immortalised in the pages of *Sinclair User*. This time around we’re searching through issue 25 from April 1984. Some of these games really do reek!

DEVELOPERS’ DEN: TERRY LLOYD
In true FREEZE tradition, we’re not just playing Auf Wiedersehen Monty — we’re peeling back the layers of its creation. We’ve sat down with Gremlin Graphics veteran Terry Lloyd, one of the original designers of Monty’s adventures. Terry’s a regular at FREEZE Towers, and it’s always a treat to hear his behind-the-scenes tales from the golden age of ZX Spectrum game and graphic development. You’re in for a real treat and some great graphic and design development stories from inside Gremlin Graphics.

SECRET SQUIRREL:
We have more from our mischievous little squirrel—a proper rascal—who loves sniffing out secrets buried deep within the thousands of ZX Spectrum games. Hidden messages, cheeky Easter eggs, long-lost sprites… if it’s been tucked away for over 40 years, he’ll find it. How does he do it? Trust me—you’re better off not knowing!

OLDIE GOLDIE: PIPPO
It’s one of our Editor’s all-time ZX Spectrum favourites—and not just because it was crafted by some rather clever Italians. We’re diving back into the colourful world of Pippo, the delightful arcade puzzler released by budget maestro Mastertronic in 1986. Fast-paced, quirky, and packed with charm, it’s a retro gem that absolutely deserves another spin.

BYTE-SIZED REVIEW:
We’ll have a review of one of the latest releases for the ZX Spectrum. More info soon.

ALL MAPPED OUT:
We’ll do our best to squeeze in another useful map for you all to utilise and enjoy. Heck! We may even throw in a few more POKES to help you along the way.

If you enjoyed issue 01, then you’re going to *LOVE* this next edition.

All this, wrapped up in a gorgeously printed A5 fanzine that’s brimming with ZX Spectrum goodness. Delivered directly to your doorstep, FREEZE-ZX is your one-stop ticket to rediscovering the magic of retro gaming, one page at a time.

Don’t wait — grab your copy today and step into the fantastically pixelated world of FREEZE-ZX!
