From Monday 5th January 2026, Royal Mail will be introducing changes to the international services offered for the Letter, Large Letter and all Parcel package formats, to help provide a clearer distinction between sending Goods and Personal Correspondence.
Non-Personal Correspondence (Goods)
- Only supported by Large Letter and Small Parcel, Medium Parcel and Large Parcel package formats. Letter package format is NOT supported.
- Only supported by International Tracked, International Standard, International Economy and the Tracked Heavier services.
- A CN document will be generated with the shipping label and will be required on the package as usual.
This means that single issues of FREEZE64/FREEZE-ZX can no longer be sent using Royal Mail’s lowest‑cost service. All copies must now be posted via the Large Letter service, which carries a higher fee. As a result of this unexpected change, future pricing has been updated to reflect the increased postage cost of £0.80p per issue.
I want to reassure you that I’m always working hard to keep FREEZE64/FREEZE-ZX as affordable as possible while still delivering the premium quality you expect. Every issue is created with care, attention, and a genuine passion for the Commodore 64 and ZX Spectrum community, and I remain committed to offering great value without compromising on the product or the service you receive. Your support means everything, and I’ll continue doing everything I can to keep costs fair and the magazine something you’re proud to receive.
Warmest regards,
Vinny @ FREEZE Towers
